From Dress To Skirt + John Lennon Sunglasses

This is my Dorothy Perkins midi dress which was pretty much a replica of the Topshop one but about half the price! I've put a top on over the dress rolled it up and placed my belt around my waist creating the illusion that it's a top and a skirt - meaning you can wear it in lots of different ways!

My lovely new sunnies are from Dixi - I bought them a while back now and I'm saving them for my trip to Ibiza (9 days!!!) but couldn't resist wearing them today and showing them off to you all as they matched my belt and if I may say so myself, look super cool with my outfit. Dog Walking Creepers

I hope you're all having a lovely Easter, it just feels like a normal day to me and probably to most of you - minus the excessive amount of yummy chocolate I have been given! 

Fortunately for me I have the beach at the end of my road so I took my doggy for a walk down there earlier and thought I'd take my camera and get a few snaps so here they are and it makes a nice change to my usual back garden!

Leaf Print and Flatforms

Leather Jacket - River Island// Dress - Dixi// Flatforms - ASOS// Belt - ASOS

This was what I wore to uni yesterday, the weather was surprisingly much warmer than usual at 14 degrees - so I brought the leather jacket out as before now it's been too cold to wear it. 

I got this leaf print dress from Dixi and it was only £15, if you haven't been on the site before I'd definitely check it out. They sell a range of new clothing as well as vintage.

I teamed it with my ASOS flatforms and my black lipstick to give it a bit of an edge.

I Love Candy

Happy Friday!

Pastels have definitely got to be my favourite trend for S/S as I just love the colours and they are all so summery. Of course I couldn't help but embrace the trend some more while shopping on ASOS (again) I went for the high waisted lilac jeans as I'm a sucker for a high waist as I think it gives you a bit more shape.

My silver knuckle ring I got free when I order a dress from Dixi which arrived yesterday and I will blog about soon.

I'm getting my hair re-dyed lilac tomorrow which I can't wait for as at the moment it's inbetween a white/grey then I'm off out tomorrow night.

So, what's your opinion on the pastel/candy coloured trend this season? I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
