From Dress To Skirt + John Lennon Sunglasses

Dress - Dorthy Perkins// Top - Zara// Sunglasses - Dixi// Belt - Vintage// Skull Bracelet - Topshop// Dr Martens - Office

This is my Dorothy Perkins midi dress which was pretty much a replica of the Topshop one but about half the price! I've put a top on over the dress rolled it up and placed my belt around my waist creating the illusion that it's a top and a skirt - meaning you can wear it in lots of different ways!

My lovely new sunnies are from Dixi - I bought them a while back now and I'm saving them for my trip to Ibiza (9 days!!!) but couldn't resist wearing them today and showing them off to you all as they matched my belt and if I may say so myself, look super cool with my outfit. If you haven't already, head over and check it out! They have great things for bargain prices http://www.shopdixi.com/

What do you think? :)

Mint Midi

Jacket - River Island// Dress - Topshop// Shoes - Dr Martens// Ear Cuff - Dorothy Perkins

I thought I would show you my new mint burnout stripe midi dress from Topshop which was at a bargain £10 in the sale - they still have it in an 8,10 and 12 on the website so if you like it I'd snap it up quickly!

I love midi lengths and the mint colour is perfect for summer. As the weather is still cold I unfortunately had to team it with black tights although it is super see through so does anyone have any ideas of what I could wear underneath it?

Beach Babe

When it comes to Summer we all know trying to find the perfect bikini or swimsuits for holiday is rather time consuming, so I wanted to show you a few of my favourites to make trawling through shops and the internet a little easier if you need a new one.

Left - Right
Top Row - Miss Selfridge £26// Warehouse £26// Dorothy Perkins £21//
Bottom Row - River Island £25// Playful Promises (ASOS) £52// Topshop £32

Left - Right  River Island £28// Dorothy Perkins £24// ASOS - £35// Dorothy Perkins £22// Topshop £32

Left - Right  River Island - £25// Topshop £34// Warehouse £35// Miss Selfridge £32// River Island £30

These were my favourites and hopefully some of them tickled your fancy.

The 3 above I have recently bought for my holiday to Ibiza in July - Both the bikinis are River Island but I purchased them from ASOS and the swimsuit is French Connection bought for just £15 from their Ebay Outlet, who knew they sold on ebay!

I adore bikinis and have to wear a different one everyday on holiday, which means I already own a lot, so I have been really good and only purchased three new pieces of swimwear for this Summer.

I also absolutely love cut out swimsuits so decided to finally purchase one. I am planning to wear it half way through my holiday on my Bora Bora beach trip, that way I have time to get rid of the tan lines before I return home!

A lot of my bikinis are branded -  Ted Baker, Chloè, Playful Promises, Vitamin A, Caprice and Flamingo Sands. I used to only want branded ones but I started to really like high street beachwear and also have some from H&M and Warehouse which I bought last year and now the two from River Island above, which you saw in my Asos haul post recently (they are much prettier in real life).

Which ones are your favourites and what type of swimsuit are you planning on buying this summer?

It's A Grey Day

Jacket - River Island// Dress - Dorothy Perkins// Socks - ASOS// Creepers - T.U.K (Sarenza)

(As you can see in the photo above, my nails I had done by 'WAH' are still going strong!)

I thought I'd match my new dress to the sky today - grey!
I popped into Dorothy Perkins the other day when I had some time to kill.  I very rarely shop in there but thought I would have a quick browse and I came across this charcoal grey midi dress which is pretty much identical to the Topshop one which is about £28. It was in the sale for £12 and I got an extra 15% off with my student discount so it was £10.20 - what a bargain!
I already have this dress in blue, just in case you recognise it!
I love these t-shirt dresses as they are so easy to throw on and look great.

The River Island jacket I am wearing with the 3D roses is old, I have had it a good couple of years now. I have recently developed a new found love for it and I think it looks great teamed with this dress. It is a copy of this one seen on Carrie Bradshaw in the first Sex and the City movie, so it is no wonder  my mum bought it for me, she is obsessed with SATC!  Thanks mum it was a good choice and I am so glad I own it!

I didn't only get the dress in the sale, I also got some jewellery at bargain prices (with 15% off!) the pearl earrings and the cross ring I have on with the outfit.  I couldn't believe how cheap the feather earrings were, after paying over £16 for my Topshop ones!

What do you think?

Tres Cool

Jumper - H&M//Dress - Dorothy Perkins//Flatforms - ASOS//Tights - ASOS//Ring - Stall in Marbellaa

I love midi dresses/skirts at the moments and can't get enough of this dress from Dorothy Perkins which I have showed you recently and is a replica of the Topshop one but £10 cheaper.

I've had this jumper from H&M since September but I haven't really worn it that much and I think this is the first time it has made an appearance on the blog. I wore it today as it was a bit chilly and I thought I would put it over my dress just to get another look from it and I really love that it gives my outfit some colour although maybe I should have worn it before I had my hair dyed dark pink!  I got it at the time jumpers with slogans on were "big" and it reads 'Tres Cool'. I teamed it all with my flatforms (which I have been wearing to death)

I love the tights because although they are black, with the detail down the side they aren't just boring thick black tights.

I go to Marbella in Spain every year on holiday with my family and I picked up my ring on a cute little jewellery stall. Love it.

All of this was finished off with my lovely black lipstick which is by Miss Sporty and was about £2.35. I never buy cheap make-up - everything I have is either Benefit, MAC or Bobby Brown but I wanted to try it out to see whether I'd like it and didn't want to pay £13 for a MAC one just incase, although now I know I can. This Miss Sporty one is great for the price although it does tend to 'bleed' so I'm thinking of lining my lips with black eyeliner first.

Hope you like!

Hat - H&M// Scarf (around hat) - Age of Reason// Coat - ASOS// Top - River Island// Skirt - Dorothy Perkins// Dr Martens - Office// Bag - Marc Jacobs//Tights - ASOS

Unfortunately it's back to reality tomorrow as I have Uni.
I was unable to attend London Fashion Week yesterday as I had to work and then when I found out I had the day off of Uni today I knew I was going straight back up to London! So I have managed to do 3 out of the 4 days so far!
I was hanging round Somerset House getting papped every 5 seconds, all part of the fun I suppose! Then I spotted my favourite Made in Chelsea babe Millie Mackintosh again and asked for a photo this time!
I managed to get into the Mark Fast show today which was amazing - I couldn't believe it!
I couldn't believe it even more when I saw Nicola Roberts, Kanye West and Mollie King from the Saturdays on the front row!! As soon as the show was over I ran straight over to Mollie and asked for a photo - if you don't ask you don't get and voila! ;) I am a massive fan of The Saturdays and Mollie being my fave I was in my element and got a little bit star struck haha.

It's All About The Midi

Dress - Dorothy Perkins// Tights - House of Holland for PP (exclusive to ASOS)// Earrings - ASOS// Flatforms - ASOS// Jumper - ASOS// Ring - Topshop

I went to Nandos last night with my friends as some of them had come home from university and I only went for the first time in September and for someone who isn't a meat fan at all and I only really eat chicken I quite liked it. Although I only go for lemon and herb and even that is a bit spicy!

So this is what I wore -
If someone had told me a year or so ago that I would wear a dress past my knee I would never have believed them. It was always about the mini for me through my teens up until about 17ish when I wore my first maxi dress and since then I actually love the longer length as it gives a whole new look.
This Midi Dress I wanted from Topshop but when I saw it was £29 it out me off. I then saw on the Dixi clothing blog that Dorothy Perkins had pretty much the same thing for £10 less and the added bonus of 25% off for students. I hurried over there quickly and found this beauty for £19.50 (£14.60 with discount) in navy or grey and I picked the navy (although it almost looks grey). I also managed to pick up a pleated midi skirt for £5 with only an £8 left so of course I bought that as well, no doubt I will blog about it soon.
Earrings - I'd been after some cross earrings for a while so I got these on ASOS for £6 as they were the right size I was after.
Jumper - I saw this Knitted Jumper on the blog 'Olivia on a mission' she mentioned it was from ASOS so I looked on there and it was £20 from £50 in the sale and they had every size and still do - mine is an XS. I just put this jumper on so I didn't have to wear a coat out as I feel they can sometimes ruin outfits. Although, I wish I had put one on because I froze! It's definitely one of those pieces that can be layered over anything.
Tights - As you all know I've been a bit obsessed with tights recently and I now own 5 pairs of House of Holland for PP tights and this is one of them. They were £12 exclusive to ASOS but I got these when they were doing 25% student discount.
Flatforms - I know I blogged about my lovely new shoes when they arrived on Friday but I couldn't help myself but to wear them when I could so here they are again. £25 ASOS.

I hope you've all had a good weekend so far.

I Love Candy

Top - ASOS, Jeans - ASOS, Headband - Topshop, Ring - Dixi, Gilet - Dorothy Perkins, Boots - Dr Martens

Happy Friday!
Pastels have definitely got to be my favourite trend for S/S as I just love the colours and they are all so summery. Of course I couldn't help but embrace the trend some more while shopping on ASOS (again) I went for the high waisted lilac jeans as I'm a sucker for a high waist as I think it gives you a bit more shape.
My silver knuckle ring I got free when I order a dress from Dixi which arrived yesterday and I will blog about soon.

I'm getting my hair re-dyed lilac tomorrow which I can't wait for as at the moment it's inbetween a white/grey then I'm off out tomorrow night.

So, what's your opinion on the pastel/candy coloured trend this season? I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
