All About The Ruffles

Coat - ASOS
Shirt - MSGM (TheOutnet.com)
Jeans - River Island
Boots - Acne Studios (Net-A-Porter.com)
Necklace - Monica Vinader
Bag - Dolce & Gabbana (Net-A-Porter.com)

So as it was payday on Friday and it's the first payday since living in my new house it meant I had more money to spend than usual (yay!) as we aren't having to save so much money, so I wanted to treat myself.

I got this gorgeous MSGM pink ruffle shirt from The Outnet. It was obviously the ruffles on the back that drew me in with this (and the fact it's pink obvs!) as ruffles are so big right now and I've also been enjoying wearing shirts a lot recently so I had to have it. As always with my designer things I like to buy items that will have longevity in my wardrobe and that definitely ticks the box.

I'd been looking at buying this Acne pink shirt from Net-A-Porter so I'm thrilled to have found this gem for half the price and with added ruffles!

Another addition to the wardrobe are these cropped flares, they were down to £12 in the River Island sale so I nabbed them after seeing them on Lurch Hound Loves blog. Cropped flares are great as they can be worn so many different ways, with ankle boots, brogues, pointy flats, trainers etc.

Have you bought any pay day purchases yet?

Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Outfit 1 -

 Outfit 2 -

Outfit 3 -

So everybody wants to look super nice on Christmas day whether you're staying in doors and having family over, going to somebody's house or going out out for Christmas dinner. So I thought I'd give you some outfit inspiration as I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to buy to wear recently as it is less than a month until the big day!! I know everybody keeps saying it but this year really has gone fast and so much has happened in a good way - I am soooo excited for 2016!!

The Bella Freud jumper in the first outfit is a big of a splurge - I've decided I'm going to buy it to wear on Christmas Day this year and this is the way I'm thinking of styling it. I just think it's a chic take on the usual gimmicky Christmas jumpers and can be worn all year round. I love the fact it says 'Good Times' on the sleeve too - so cute.

The dress in the second outfit is Topshop - I really love this dress. It has flute sleeves and a bib detail on the chest which you can't really see in the picture sorry! I think it would make a lovely Christmas day outfit paired with the boots as it's casual and comfy but will look really lovely on.

The third outfit is a bit jazzier for those people who really like to get dressed up on Christmas day. The pumps really remind me of Valentino Rockstuds so these £40 ASOS shoes need to be mine!

The good thing about everything in these outfits is that they can be worn all year round for many different occasions, so treat yourself!

Kenzo Paris

Top - Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - River Island
Bag - Kenzo (www.Net-A-Porter.com)
A pretty simple outfit but one I always go to when the weather has a little bit of a turn and the sun decides to go into hiding - you can't beat a little white boho top with jeans.
My Kenzo bag is one of my Net-A-Porter sale purchases. It had been in my wish list for a while so I was super happy when I managed to nab it in the sale, there's nothing I love more than a bargain.
My River Island shoesies I fell in love with instore - I love the printed faux leather and the way they are more sandal like than normal espadrilles. I wore them for the first time in Amsterdam when I went earlier this month and they were/are super comfortable. I've literally just got back from a work trip in New York and the weather really isn't great here. Hopefully the sun comes back ready for the weekend!

Faux Fur & Flat Shoe Lovin'

Leather jacket - River Island
T-Shirt - Zara
Jeans - Iris & Ink (www.theoutnet.com)
Shoes - Zara
Scarf - ASOS
Lipstick - Kate Moss Rimmel in shade 08 (ASOS)

Quite a basic/casual outfit from me today. I'm really not a fan of this weather as I find it's too warm to wear a full on coat but I feel like a bit of warmth is needed so that's where the scarf comes in. I am well and truly obsessed with faux fur this season, especially the scarves. This ASOS beauty (£30) was a must have, they have so many to choose from on there but this one did it for me. It's sooo soft and soooo warm it's going to be my best friend this winter.

On my feet are my new Zara beauties. I've had my eye on this Marni pair but at £630 (I know!) they were just way out of budget so I got these for £49.99 instead!! They're a great autumnal shoe and I will make sure I get lots of wear out of them before it becomes permanent boot weather.

Waisted | Topshop | New Look | Givenchy

Dress - Topshop// Bag - Givenchy (Harrods)// Sandals - New Look via ASOS// Ring - River Island

I'm in desperate need of some new summer clothes/dresses but I don't like spending too much money on them as it's Winter again before we know it :(  I got this one from Toppers in the sale for £10 a couple of months ago. I can't wait for the sales to start again in a couple of weeks, I get such a buzz from nabbing a bargain haha.

Denim, Leather, Stripes & Sliders | River Island | New Look | ASOS

 Leather jacket - River Island// Top - New Look// Skirt - River Island// Rat bag - Christopher Raeburn// Sliders - ASOS// Friendship bracelet watch - ASOS// Sunglasses & Jade bracelet - Thailand

Happy Easter! I hope you're having a lovely long weekend! I'm spending the morning working but will be having a scrummy roast with the family later! I wore this outfit when I saw my friends on Friday. I haven't worn a denim skirt in years but I found a new love for them since wearing this one, the stripe detailing gives it a bit of an update. I purchased it in the River Island sale for £7 here.

I think this is a pretty simple outfit but I really love it. I know I'm going to end up wearing my leather sliders to death this summer as they're so easy to slip on and they're super comfy.

Most Awesome Pair of Mom Jeans Ever

Top - River Island//Jeans - Topshop//Shoes - Lazy Oaf x Kickers (Schuh eBay)//Necklace - Accessorize

I've been after these Mom jeans after spying them online AGES ago, they sold out straight away and never came back. One day last week I went into the Westfield White City store on my lunch break and voila! One pair left and in my size... I call it fate! Especially considering I never venture over to their jeans section!

My amazing Kickers are yes very cray but could I resist that rainbow coloured platform? Of course not. I purchased them from Schuh on eBay brand new for £24 RRP £110 - now that's what I call a bargain.

Definitely feeling like a total 90s kid in Mom Jeans and Kickers!

What do you think?
