Unicorns and disco pants

If you all didn't know already, I am now the fashion intern at New! Magazine and  am here until April.
I have super long days so don't get much chance to blog with a 4 hour daily commute into London and back! I do however, get into work early most days so I managed to get a photo of my outfit to share with you:

So today in the fashion cupboard I wore: Unicorn Sweater - ASOS// Disco pants - AA.

I've also recently joined Instagram as I now have an iPhone 5! So give me a follow - claudiakitten and have a fun day!

Don't Be Jel, Be Green

Top - Lazy Oaf (ASOS)// Disco Pants - American Apparel (ASOS)// Socks - ASOS// Creepers - Underground (ASOS)// Ring - Topshop

If you wasn't green with envy before you started reading this post you will be now you've seen my new creeeeeeepers!

So this is part of my ASOS haul and how I have styled my alien eye top, my white frilly socks and my gorgeous apple green Underground creepers (they are slightly brighter in real life than in the pictures).

I bought the top specifically to wear with the creepers as I didn't have anything green to match and I love how the purple on the top also matches my hair.

I find creepers come up on the big side so I went for a 3 as I'm usually a 3/4 and they are a perfect fit, so if you're thinking of getting some, I'd go for the smaller size.

I thought that with the black disco pants and the white socks I looked a little bit "Michael Jackson" but I actually quite like it.

What do you think?

From London To Ibiza

As promised on my last post I thought I would show you what I bought in London for Ibiza this Summer.

American Apparel - £70

Firstly I bought some more disco pants in the new 'Peacock Blue' colour. This is the one thing I bought that I'm not saving for holiday as they will be far too hot, so I might get the disco shorts to take in gold.

We all know disco pants aren't given justice when on a hanger - so here is a picture of me wearing them out on Thursday night with my Barbie bodysuit:

H&M - £14.99

I first saw this dress in H&M whilst doing my work experience in London and I love dresses that are shorter at the front and longer at the back, so this gold pleated one at only £14.99 was a must have!

Goldie - £66

I got this dress in Topshop but from the 'Goldie' concession.  It was £66 but I instantly fell in love with it - I think it was the leather straps! Although I'm saving this for Ibiza I really want to wear it with DMs now, but I am going to try and save it.

Topshop - £29

This neon skater dress is from Topshop - I bought this thinking it will look great on holiday with a tan, it is brighter in real life than in the picture.

Miss Selfridge  £22

I'm sorry about the awful first picture of the dress but I just wanted to show you the colour as it is actually neon yellow and not the lemon colour in the picture above. This dress will give me some serious underwear issues as it is really sheer but I am going to have to invest in some nude underwear and hope it cannot be seen! Again, it is so bright, it will look fab with a tan. Miss Selfridge also had 20% student discount that day so I got it for £17.60!

Topshop - £35

Loving this denim playsuit which is a bit "tonic" like in colour.

Bershka - £19.99
I originally went into Bershka to get a skull vest that I had seen on a blog and came across these - love them!

The Ragged Priest - £40
I got these shorts from 'The Ragged Priest' concession in Topshop - they are vintage Levis dyed baby pink and baby blue with studs. I fell in love with everything they had instore and thought these were a must for Ibiza. Not sure what I'm going to team them with just yet. Check out their website it's www.theraggedpriest.com

Topshop
Croptop - £12   Shorts - £22

Topshop
Skirt - £25 Top - £18
I got an extra 10% off all my Topshop items with my student discount and here are some pieces I picked up.

I am going back to the same hotel I stayed at last year and will be doing all the big clubs again. I am so excited and all my clothes will get lots of wear, as just like last year, I will only be home just over a week and will be off to Marbella for the family holiday!
What do you think of my Ibiza wardrobe so far?

Florence & The Machine

I'm afraid to say this is going to be a pretty picture heavy post as I went to see the AMAZING Florence and the Machine at the Alexandra Palace in London, which by the way was a gorgeous venue. This was the second time I've seen her live as I saw her at The Hammersmith Apollo in 2010 and she's exceeded my expectations everytime, she is incredible. I'm absolutely in love with her album 'Ceremonials' especially after hearing it all live. The whole venue is standing which is different to when I saw her last time as I was sitting - I'm not sure which I prefer as both as positives and negatives. Like with standing although you're much closer and can actually see her properly, people block your vision and your legs severely ache by the end but I did like being more in with the action.

How amazing is her catsuit!

She was supported by 'The Horrors' who I'd heard of before but never heard there music and thought they were ok and 'Spector' I hadn't heard of before but really liked them, so I will definitely be downloading their songs.

Myself and sister Courtenay

Left - Right
My big sister Courtenay, her friend Cleo, my biggest sister Chloe and myself
Here is what I wore:

Top - Topshop//Pants - American Apparel// Dr Martens - Office// Bag - Marc Jacobs// Ring  - Accessorize
Purple Lipstick - 'Kate' range for Rimmel

If you haven't seen Florence and the Machine and you are a fan (not that anyone couldn't be) I would really recommend getting tickets to see her, you won't be disappointed considering she's even better live.

Dip Dye and Disco Pants

Top - River Island// Disco Pants - American Apparel (from ASOS)// Creepers - T.U.K

Yes everyone, I have changed my hair yet again! Once you change it once you can't help but keep wanting to try different things - I think this is my favourite hair style so far.

My top was £30 from River Island and I love the minimalism trend so I really wanted it and feel like it goes perfectly with my AA disco pants. I've had it for a while but this is only the second time I have actually worn it - love love love it.

I got my Disco Pants off of ASOS on a day that they have 25% off for Students and as they are a little pricey I took advantage of the discount and got them for around £52 from £70. They only sell the navy and red ones on there now but when I got mine they only had black or caramel. I was so torn between the two and really wanted the Caramel but I played it safe and went for the black ones. I really want them in every colour now though as they are such a lovely fit and can be worn during the day or out at night.

Lastly my beloved creepers :)

What do you think of my new hair and my outfit?
