Lilac is the new pink...

So yesterday was the day of the 'new hair', I went from pink to lilac.

I really loved my pink hair but was considering going back blonde but definitely didn't feel as though I was ready to go back to 'normal' just yet so this is what I opted for and after 4 and a bit hours, this was the outcome as well as a full fringe! I'm starting to think that I actually prefer this to my blonde hair, it's different but not overly in your face.

Today I went into Uni and had my shorthand retake which is beyond hard. I'm feeling a bit more positive about it this time so fingers crossed I have actually passed.

On to the outfit...

Faux Fur Gilet - ASOS, Shirt - ASOS, Skinny Jeans - River Island, Ring - Miss Selfridge, Bag - My beloved Marc Jacobs

I am in love with faux fur this winter not only does it look great but it also keeps you super warm, so when I saw this dark burgundy coloured gilet in the ASOS sale I couldn't stop myself, especially when I consider how much I wear my white Dorothy Perkins one I bought last winter, this one will definitely get lots of wear - the £22 price tag definitely reeled me in.

I've also been after a black shirt for a while (also purchased in the ASOS sale for only £12.50 but unfortunately no longer available) as they can be worn with anything and this shirt is cotton type fabric down the front and around the top of the shirt (the collar and across the shoulders and tops of the arm) where as the rest of the shirt, sleeves, back etc are sheer so it can be dressed down for day but dressy enough to be worn out at night with a pencil skirt or maybe my silver metallic shorts.

The jeans I fell in love with when I went shopping on Christmas Eve but stopped myself from getting them as my money was to be spent on last minute Christmas presents, not myself : ( but as soon as money came my way I couldn't resist getting a bit of a haul and as you can see this is all new and there is still lots more to come! The were £40 which I guess is a little pricey and sadly you can't get student discount in River Island but I think they are super cute and very me, I'm a sucker for things like this.

They also do them in Black and Pink which I think I'm also going to buy, as pink is my favourite colour after all.

I got my new black patent Dr Martens for Christmas and literally haven't taken them off since, I just feel like they finish my outfits off perfectly and I really don't know what I did before I got them. They are also the comfiest shoes everrr!
