So Tuesday was my birthday, I am now the grand old age of 23 - where is my life going?! My boyfriend had organised a surprise in London for the evening and this is what we got up to...

We had dinner at Browns in Covent Garden which I highly recommend. We had the bread board to start, I had the burger and chips for main, Luke had the prawn and crab linguine and we shared onion rings as a side and they were the best onion rings I have ever eaten.
For dessert I had the salted caramel profiteroles above and Luke had the apple pie below.

Afterwards we had a walk around Covent Garden (how cool are the balloons?!) before heading to the Royal Opera House where we watched the ballet of Romeo & Juliet which was so so good. We watched Swan Lake at the Royal Opera House earlier this year and that was incredible too. Ballets are becoming my new favourite things, they're a nice change to a musical.

Have you seen a ballet before? I'd love to know what you think if you have!
