Off The Shoulder

Top - ASOS
Jeans - BLK DNM www.net-a-porter.com
Sandals - Isabel Marant www.net-a-porter.com
Bag - Aspinal of London

So my jeans and my slides are two of my Net-A-Porter sale buys and what bargains they were (I'll be doing a post on all of my purchases soon). My designer shoe collection is growing rather quickly and I really didn't need anymore sandals but I'm not one to turn down a bargain. I did however need new jeans and I'm not impressed that I'm wearing jeans in July - the weather this week has been awful!

I bought this top a few weeks ago when the ASOS sale first started after seeing it on The Frugality (the post is here) I must say I do find off the shoulder tops quite annoying as they do tend to keep coming up when I lift my arms etc but they look lovely on.

What are your plans for the weekend? I think it's going to be a pretty quiet one from me as I'm still feeling the jet lag from New York.

I had some very exciting news last week... after having an interview last Thursday I got the good news that same evening that I had got the position of Fashion Assistant at TheOutnet.com - The Net-A-Porter Group after having interned there for six months last year and also having worked in the Net-A-Porter studio for six months and at publications such as Marie Claire, Vogue, Red and many other fashion mags I finally got my permanent dream position, part of the dream team and as an employee of the best company and to say I was/am over the moon is an understatement as I've worked so hard to get here. These are pictures of what I wore on my first day Monday this week. I got my trousers in Gap on black Friday as they had 50% off everything - so good!

I'm also off to LA tomorrow for a shoot so I am literally living the dream right now - so bare with me with the blog posts I am a very busy bee!!

Skater Shoes - H&M
Rucksack - Aspinal of London

I'm so happy that it's Friday tomorrow as I have a nice weekend ahead filled with a cinema trip to see Interstellar, a Nandos visit, and a night out. I went for a pretty casual outfit for today, I've started wearing my gilets so I can get some wear out of them before the super cold weather starts and it will have to be a coat day everyday. I got my Mango roll neck in the last 30% off weekend for a bargainous £6.99!! I've really worked on building up my basics this autumn and Mango is the best place to go as they are cheap and good quality.

I'm still ever so in love with my rucksack, I don't think it will ever fade.

Do you have much planned for the weekend?

The Ultimate Rucksack - Aspinal of London

Polo neck - Mango// Skirt - Next// Socks - Topshop// Boots - New Look Via ASOS// Rucksack - Aspinal of London

Happy Sunday!

Today I finally get to take my beloved birthday present out for a spin, yes I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous rucksack from my boyfriend. My birthday was on the 22nd September but I didn't actually get the bag until the 1st of October and it wasn't out yet but my boyfriend had pre ordered it. I had a present to open and also inside was this...

He also got me a birthday cake made of the bag...

Everything I'm wearing is brand new... I also got the skirt for my birthday - it's such great quality and looks and feels like real leather, it's going to be a staple in my wardrobe for A/W for sure. I got my roll neck when Mango did their 30% off weekend along with my amazing new coat which will be up soon and my boots were a bargain £24.99 (I got them for £20 as ASOS gave me a 20% off code as there was no next day delivery) they are great boots as they're classics which can be worn with anything so I'd definitely grab a pair as I'm sure they'll sell out at that price. They're super comfy too!

What do you think?
