What I Got For Christmas 2015

Acne Studios Jensen Suede Boots - Net-A-Porter.com

These gorgeous boots were my main present from my lovely boyfriend. I'm a sucker for designer things especially accessories as they last a really long time and black boots are such a staple so I really wanted an expensive pair. They do these boots in leather rather than suede and in different colours but I really wanted a real suede pair. They are the perfect heel height for everyday and the silver detailing on the toe and the writing down the back of the boot really make them for me. I don't think I'll be taking them off of my feet any time soon.

Adidas Stan Smith Trainers - Net-A-Porter.com

I already own a white cracked leather pair of Stans and they are such a staple for me as they can be worn with everything and are super comfy due to this I really wanted a black pair and these velvet leopard print ones had to be mine.

Engraved Monica Vinader Rose Gold Necklace

I've wanted a necklace that I can wear everyday for a long time now and what better than this one. The front has 'Claudia' engraved on it and the back has a pineapple so I can switch it up and wear it both ways. I'm a sucker for anything that is personalised.

H&M Dress

This gorgeous dress was a gift from my sister, she actually has it herself and bought me one as she knew I loved it. Such a shame we no longer live together and can't share wardrobes!

Rosie for Autograph PJ's - Marks & Spencer

I love the Rose H-W range for M&S my collection is really growing now. The lingerie is so gorgeous and is such a perfect fit as is the sleepwear.

 PJ's - Missguided

I'm a sucker for pyjamas and these are ridiculously cute and so comfy - Missguided PJ's for the win. (sorry about how creased they are!!)

The Carries Diaries Book - Amazon
Vogue Magazine Subscription
2016 Glitter Diary - Paperchase
Pug Socks - New Look
Babyliss Hair Wand

So happy that Luke renewed my Vogue subscription as that's something I don't have to worry about buying each month now.
If you have long hair and are after a curling wand, I'd highly recommend this one. I used it once for the first time on Christmas day and loved it. I didn't hairspray my hair as I don't like to and it lasted for days.

Soap & Glory Gift Set
Nivea Lip Care Set

Rose Jam Bath Bomb
Razzle Dazzle Bath Melt
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
Butterbear Bath Bomb
Estee Lauder Make-Up Brush Cleanser
Una Brennan Vitamin C Gentle Daily Micro Polish Wash
The Balm Nude Tude Palette

I'm a sucker for anything from Lush so I can't wait to use these pieces in my bath! My thoughtful mumma got them for me so that I can save them for when I move out so it's less stuff I have to spend my money on.

How gorgeous is this palette? I haven't stopped wearing it since Christmas Day.

Miu Miu Perfume

I've wanted this perfume since I smelt it in Vogue magazine a few months ago so it went straight on the top of my Christmas list and thankfully my mumma got it for me.

Real Techniques Make-up Brushes

Last but not least I got new brushes yay!

What was your favourite thing you got from Christmas?

I got lots of bits for our new home for Christmas too so I've done a separate post for that so watch out for it.

Everyday Make-Up Look

Base - Maybelline Baby Skin instant fatigue blur
Concealer - Clinique All About The Eyes
Contour - MAC matte bronzer
Blusher - Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop
Highlight - BECCA in Moonstone
Brows - Anastasia Beverly Hills tinted browl gel in Granite
Eyeliner - Kat Von D tattoo liner in Trooper
Eyeshadow - Soft peach all over and Morroco in the crease and outer corner
Mascara - Younique 3D fiber lash www.fabulashed.com
Lips - MAC - Velvet Teddy

So this is pretty much my everyday make-up look for work/the weekends. I never wear foundation so I just contour and lightly apply bronzer all over my face for colour. I currently couldn't live without my ABH world traveller eye pallette - I shocked myself when I fell in love with the browny/orange shade that is Morroco - it's a shade I would never dreamt of wearing before and now I am wearing it everyday as it's perfect for A/W. Teamed with a nude lip and a stroke of eyeliner I am good to go.

If you use any of these products on a daily basis I'd love to know your thoughts.

I recently went to New York on a work trip and re-bought my favourite cleanser, I highly recommend this.

BEAUTY - Superdrug 3 for 2

Something I don't do very often is talk beauty but it's something I've decided I'm going to post about more. After hearing and seeing such good things about certain Rimmel Kate Moss pieces I decided to pop to my local Superdrug and purchase them. I'm not one for buying make-up from Boots or Superdrug but if I know a product is good then I'm more than happy to as just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's a good product.  So I purchased Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick in shade 108 (£5.49) and the Kate Moss eyeshadow stick in Rose Gold (£4.49). All make-up was on 3 for 2 so I also got Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Fatigue blur primer in rose gold (£7.99) as I never wear foundation unless I'm going for a night out so I wanted to get something to perk my skin up.

I tried all three of the products out for the first time the other day and I was really impressed.

The eyeshadow stick - I think it's a gorgeous wearable colour and it has great lasting power. It also works well as a base under other gold eyeshadows.

The lipstick - I usually only use/buy MAC lipsticks but I do love this one as it's a great price and the colour is perfect for this season. It does bleed a tiny little bit but nothing you can't live with and it doesn't last as long as my MAC lipsticks but I'm still impressed and it's definitely become my go to.

The primer - the picture above doesn't really capture the rose tone that well, sorry about that. It claims  it "instantly smoothes for even-looking tone and texture" and "skin looks refreshed and revitalised" I agree that it does do those things and it makes my skin feel really silky and smooth.

Have you got any of these products? If so, what do you think of them?

T-bar Shoes - Daisystreet.co.uk// Leather Sliders - ASOS

As you can see in the last month I have been on a bit of a spree...it's only when I put this post together that I really how much I had bought.

As you all know I went to Thailand last month so of course I was at the MAC counter in the airport...I love buying make-up nearly as much as I do clothes and there's no greater feeling than trying out your new products for the first time (other than wearing new clothes for the first time). I finally bought Lady Danger after hearing and seeing it all around the blogosphere! I will be doing a review on these bits sometime in the near future. I was also desperate for some new brushes so ended up buying pretty much the entire set - oops.

Then there's the clothes, of course not needing any of them but clearly couldn't resist. Some if these items have already popped up in posts, so I apologise for that!

Can you justify buying 3 new pairs of shoes in less than a month? Of course, I needed all three. The t-bar shoes were just too cute to say no, I've been lusting after sliders for a while and they were a great price and I was desperate for a new pair of trainers as I am wearing my Adidas Stella McCartney's to death.

I haven't gone this crazy in a while so I feel it is acceptable and I'd just returned from holiday so of course I needed to help cure the blues!

Brow Arch March & Gimme Brow

This blog post is better late than never! I was back to work last Wednesday after being in Thailand on holiday for two weeks so I have been super busy, but just before I went I had my brows done and gave 'Gimme Brow' my first try in celebration of Brow Arch March with Benefit.

Benefit's 'Gimme Brow' is a tinted brow gel that shapes, defines and gives added colour to your brows. I have really dark eye brows anyway and it still managed to make a difference - good old Benefit!

Below are my before and after pictures...

Before 'Gimme Brow'

After 'Gimme Brow'

You can really see the difference even on my already fairly dark brows. The perfect brow grooming product with just the swipe of a wand, a great alternative to tinting or as your tint begins to fade.

Today is the last day of Brow Arch March in aid of the "Look Good Feel Better" charity, so if you are free head over to a participating Debenhams store and get your brows done by the lovely Benefit ladies themselves or if you can't it's still not too late to donate. Find out more here.

A big thanks to Benefit for my Goody Bag and the opportunity to try out this fab product.
