All About The Stripes

Coat - Michael Kors
Top - Boohoo
Skirt - New Look
Boots - Acne Studios via Net-A-Porter
Bag - Dolce & Gabbana via Net-A-Porter

I must say, I'm really loving Boohoo at the moment, it's not somewhere I think to shop from but after seeing Lily Melrose's Boohoo haul I saw a few things that I loved (this top included) and made a purchase.

When this top arrived, I was so happy with me, it's pretty simple as it is just a black and white tee but there is also something quite statement about it too. I really love it paired with this cord skirt, I think it may be my new favourite outfit!

I recently did my first every Youtube video which was a High Street Haul with some of the Boohoo pieces in it that I bought. Please check it out and like and subscribe if you enjoy it, it will mean a lot! :)

Girlfriend Jeans For The Win

Gilet - ASOS
Jumper - Bella Freud (Net-A-Porter)
Jeans - New Look
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - Dolce & Gabbana (Net-A-Porter)

So here we have the girlfriend jeans, an update on the boyfriend and the skinny as it's a mix of both. Not as slouchy as a boyfriend fit but not as tight as a skinny. I personally think it's my new fave style.

This pair is from New Look at a bargain price of £24.99. (I got them for £19.99 as they had 20% off jeans the day I bought them) which I think is an incredible price for jeans. I don't really shop in New Look especially not for jeans but I'd seen them on somebody and thought I would give them a try and I'm really impressed. They can be worn with trainers, Brogues and ankle boots so they are super versatile.

I think this is one of my fave outfits I've worn recently, I think I may be a girlfriend jeans convert!

Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Outfit 1 -

 Outfit 2 -

Outfit 3 -

So everybody wants to look super nice on Christmas day whether you're staying in doors and having family over, going to somebody's house or going out out for Christmas dinner. So I thought I'd give you some outfit inspiration as I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to buy to wear recently as it is less than a month until the big day!! I know everybody keeps saying it but this year really has gone fast and so much has happened in a good way - I am soooo excited for 2016!!

The Bella Freud jumper in the first outfit is a big of a splurge - I've decided I'm going to buy it to wear on Christmas Day this year and this is the way I'm thinking of styling it. I just think it's a chic take on the usual gimmicky Christmas jumpers and can be worn all year round. I love the fact it says 'Good Times' on the sleeve too - so cute.

The dress in the second outfit is Topshop - I really love this dress. It has flute sleeves and a bib detail on the chest which you can't really see in the picture sorry! I think it would make a lovely Christmas day outfit paired with the boots as it's casual and comfy but will look really lovely on.

The third outfit is a bit jazzier for those people who really like to get dressed up on Christmas day. The pumps really remind me of Valentino Rockstuds so these £40 ASOS shoes need to be mine!

The good thing about everything in these outfits is that they can be worn all year round for many different occasions, so treat yourself!

Anya Hindmarch Eat Your Heart Out

Jacket - Topshop
Dress - Zara
Boots - New Look Via ASOS
Bag - Marc by Marc Jacobs

Today I've pretty much done all of my Christmas shopping - we went to TK Maxx and managed to get most of our presents for people, they really do have something for everybody. I wanted to wear something comfy so obviously opted for my new dress.

This dress I love a little bit more than I should. I braved Zara on payday AKA black Friday and saw this dress. It reminded me of all the Anya Hindmarch bits which are way over priced so this dress at £25.99 was a lot more purse friendly. I love that it's a turtle neck style and a 3/4 sleeve - I'm probably going to spend my life in it from this day forward.

A Day Out In London

Coat - Michael Kors
Dress - Topshop
Boots - New Look Via ASOS
Bag - Anya Hindmarch

So I had a lovely day out on in London last Friday with Luke. We were celebrating being together for 3 years so we booked the day off of work, headed to London had a browse in Selfridges and a walk to Green Park where we had Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair. It really was incredible so I'll definitely be doing a review on it soon.

Culottes - New Look
Sliders - Isabel Marant
Bag - Anya Hindmarch
Ring - Marc by Marc Jacobs
Sunglasses - Rayban

I had a lovely day out at Howletts zoo in Canterbury on Sunday with my family - it was quite a cloudy day so I wanted to make sure I was covered up enough so I didn't get chilly when the sun went in.

This is where culottes come in, they're perfect for the in between weather that we pretty much have all summer long in the UK. I actually bought these last summer and completely forgot I had them until I had a wardrobe clear out a few weeks ago.

Paired with my favourite off the shoulder top from ASOS and my super comfy Marant sliders I was ready for a long day of walking around outside at the zoo.

This is a picture of myself and my gorgeous baby niece Matilda at the zoo

Happy Halloween!!

Jumper - Lazy Oaf
Jeans - Iris & Ink (www.theoutnet.com)
Boots - New Look Via ASOS
Bag - Marc by Marc Jacobs (www.my-wardrobe.com)

Happy Halloween!! I'm off work today so I thought I would add a bit of Halloween to my outfit whilst I spend my afternoon carving pumpkins.

Isn't this jumper just the cutest???  It's me down to a tee - it's pink, fluffy and has a cat on it - Lazy Oaf are one of my faves for sure. I got it for my birthday a few weeks back and thought today would be the perfect day to put it up on the blog.

I thought I would just go plain and simple with my black jeans and boots today with the added touch of my devil hair and black lips for Halloween but it also looks great with a midi skirt, skater shoes and a red lip as that's another way I have worn it.

Are you up to anything special for Halloween this weekend?

The Ultimate Rucksack - Aspinal of London

Polo neck - Mango// Skirt - Next// Socks - Topshop// Boots - New Look Via ASOS// Rucksack - Aspinal of London

Happy Sunday!

Today I finally get to take my beloved birthday present out for a spin, yes I was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous rucksack from my boyfriend. My birthday was on the 22nd September but I didn't actually get the bag until the 1st of October and it wasn't out yet but my boyfriend had pre ordered it. I had a present to open and also inside was this...

He also got me a birthday cake made of the bag...

Everything I'm wearing is brand new... I also got the skirt for my birthday - it's such great quality and looks and feels like real leather, it's going to be a staple in my wardrobe for A/W for sure. I got my roll neck when Mango did their 30% off weekend along with my amazing new coat which will be up soon and my boots were a bargain £24.99 (I got them for £20 as ASOS gave me a 20% off code as there was no next day delivery) they are great boots as they're classics which can be worn with anything so I'd definitely grab a pair as I'm sure they'll sell out at that price. They're super comfy too!

What do you think?

The Culottes - New Look | ASOS | Topshop

Top - New Look
Culottes - New Look via ASOS
Sliders - ASOS
 Necklace - Topshop
 Bag - Givenchy (Harrods)

I feel like the culottes are a tricky piece - you either love them, hate them or you just aren't sure about wearing them. I was unsure myself but I took the plunge and bought this New Look pair from ASOS for a super reasonable price of £17.99.

I've decided I now love them. I wore them for a day out in London on Monday and I personally think they look really chic - you can dress them up with heels or go for a more relaxed look like I did and wear them with sliders. They would look great with a loose boxy crop top too - these ones are quite high waisted and sit at the belly button so you would only be showing slight midriff and not your whole tummy which is good. I feel like they are definitely going to become a staple in my wardrobe...they are super comfy too which is always a bonus.

On another note, despite working in London and spending pretty much my entire life there, I've never been on the London Eye so it was something I took the time to do whilst I was there on Monday . If you haven't been on it then I'd definitely recommend it - it goes super slow and you don't even feel like you're up high (which is something I was worried about). I definitely take London for granted so it was great to see the amazing view across the city.
