There's no better time of the year for me than when the sales start. As sad as this may sound, my life pretty much revolves around fashion and clothes. Looking good is a very big thing to me so getting bargains and more things for my money is fab. I got some high end and high street pieces. It's no secret that I work at Net-A-Porter (well I finished on Friday as I am off to Vogue!!) and they very generously give us our staff discount off of sale items as well, so of course I couldn't help having a little splurge.

Kenzo Jumper

Unfortunately this jumper has sold out now, but it was 40% off at £102. The logo is sequins and it's actually a gorgeous shade of mint which the pictures unfortunately don't show up very well.

Chinti & Parker breton

The heart print pocket on this breton definitely won me over. It went down to £45 (half price) and I class this as an investment piece because breton tops are timeless and I will wear it for years and years until it actually falls apart.

Stella McCartney tank and J.Crew weekdays Tee

As mentioned in one of my last posts, I have recently joined the gym. I got this tank as I love allll of the Adidas Stella McCartney bits and I like to try and look a little bit stylish whilst I work out. The J.Crew weekdays top I had my eye on for a while and it went down to £28.

As mentioned before high end lingerie is something I always like to buy...especially during the sales as it makes it a lot more affordable.

L'Agent by Agent Provocateur lingerie set

L'Agent by Agent Provocateur is a design collaboration between Penelope Cruz and AP and I'm so happy I managed to buy a set as I'd been lusting since I first saw them at work being shot in the studio. I don't think there are many sizes left on NAP but House of Fraser online have the set as I had to buy my knickers from there as they had already sold out. The bra is £35, thong £18, and briefs £19.50 in the House of Fraser sale.

Now this set was a serious bargain. The bra is down to £15 and the knickers down to £10 and that was without my added discount. You would pay more than that for a set from the High Street and this is a perfect every day set.

I don't have these pieces to hand to take a photo of them but these were my first sale purchase. They are both reduced even further now top £28 and sweater £24 - soooo cheap! Luckily they don't have my size left otherwise I wouldn't be very happy!

Bra and Knickers - Elle Macpherson Intimates (The Outnet)

There's nothing I love more than a nice good quality set of undies. I mentioned in my last post that I appreciate and want expensive things a lot more now that I am growing up, especially when I know they are going to last.

Underwear is a great place to start since it is something that gets worn everyday.

This Elle Macpherson Evening Luau set is my most recent lingerie purchase and is only £31.80. You pay that sort of money for a set from the High St and as The Outnet is already reduced (you have to nab your size quick as they don't have as much stock as a normal website would) you get them for a great price. The bra was originally £36 and the knickers £23, so that is what I call a bargain. The Outnet is my go to place for designer lingerie - I also tend to grab some in the sales.

This is my second Elle Macpherson Intimates set and the fit, feel and quality is great. I also have a Stella McCartney and Calvin Klein set. Of course I do still have High St lingerie (I'm a sucker for a bit of Rosie for Autograph) but I would much rather spend out and get a designer set when there isn't hardly any difference in price.

If it's not personally something you are bothered about or that you feel you want to spend money out on, putting a nice designer set on your birthday or Christmas list is a must, especially if you are struggling with present ideas!
