It's All Pink To Me

Dress - ASOS// Tights - House of Holland for PP (exclusive to ASOS in pink)// Jumper - ASOS// Dr Martens - Office

Putting my new ASOS cross knitted jumper to use again. I love how it looks layered over this shift dress and it definitely improves the outfit as a whole.
The shift dress I've had for a couple of months now and they still have it on ASOS for £14.
The tights are actually teamed with the dress on the ASOS website which is what made me initially want them so I could team them together.
I was debating on whether to wear my creepers or my Dr Martens with this outfit and Dr Martens it was, purely because I hadn't worn them for a while and because I love wearing them with dresses.
My hair is just up in a messy bun and I've used a bun ring (sorry that you can see my conch bar sticking out of my ear)
I had to get my pug Albert in a picture as he hasn't been featured for a while.

Hope you all have a lovely Valentines day!

It's All About The Midi

Dress - Dorothy Perkins// Tights - House of Holland for PP (exclusive to ASOS)// Earrings - ASOS// Flatforms - ASOS// Jumper - ASOS// Ring - Topshop

I went to Nandos last night with my friends as some of them had come home from university and I only went for the first time in September and for someone who isn't a meat fan at all and I only really eat chicken I quite liked it. Although I only go for lemon and herb and even that is a bit spicy!

So this is what I wore -
If someone had told me a year or so ago that I would wear a dress past my knee I would never have believed them. It was always about the mini for me through my teens up until about 17ish when I wore my first maxi dress and since then I actually love the longer length as it gives a whole new look.
This Midi Dress I wanted from Topshop but when I saw it was £29 it out me off. I then saw on the Dixi clothing blog that Dorothy Perkins had pretty much the same thing for £10 less and the added bonus of 25% off for students. I hurried over there quickly and found this beauty for £19.50 (£14.60 with discount) in navy or grey and I picked the navy (although it almost looks grey). I also managed to pick up a pleated midi skirt for £5 with only an £8 left so of course I bought that as well, no doubt I will blog about it soon.
Earrings - I'd been after some cross earrings for a while so I got these on ASOS for £6 as they were the right size I was after.
Jumper - I saw this Knitted Jumper on the blog 'Olivia on a mission' she mentioned it was from ASOS so I looked on there and it was £20 from £50 in the sale and they had every size and still do - mine is an XS. I just put this jumper on so I didn't have to wear a coat out as I feel they can sometimes ruin outfits. Although, I wish I had put one on because I froze! It's definitely one of those pieces that can be layered over anything.
Tights - As you all know I've been a bit obsessed with tights recently and I now own 5 pairs of House of Holland for PP tights and this is one of them. They were £12 exclusive to ASOS but I got these when they were doing 25% student discount.
Flatforms - I know I blogged about my lovely new shoes when they arrived on Friday but I couldn't help myself but to wear them when I could so here they are again. £25 ASOS.

I hope you've all had a good weekend so far.

As Black As Your Hat

Faux Fur Coat - ASOS, Shirt - ASOS, Skirt - Therapy at House of Fraser, Tights - House of Holland for Pretty Polly, Earrings and Necklace - Topshop, Boots - Dr Martens

Every where I go I always get comments about looking like Lady Gaga and I really don't see it. Even more so since getting my lilac hair and full fringe.
I keep wearing my Dr Martens all the time, I just love the way they look with my outfits and the fact that they're black means I can wear them with anything. I know my outfit is pretty all round dark but I thought the Fur coat gave it some colour and I had red lipstick on with it. Some times I think all black outfits are nice especially as I went for my quirky House of Holland for Pretty Polly tights which I love along with all the others from this range. I actually picked these up for £3 from a vintage clothes store which was lovely!
The necklace and earrings that I have on I got from Topshop yesterday along with the two rings below. Topshop jewellery I think can be a little overpriced sometimes so I love it when I go in there and see they have a sale on it. I got all 4 pieces for £9 which saved me a fortune as the two rings were originally £10 each down to £2.50, the necklace was £12.50 down to £2.50 and the earrings were £7.50 down to £1.50 so I was pretty pleased with that.

One thing I just had to purchase yesterday was a new MAC black liquid eyeliner as mine had ran out the day before. I wear liquid eyeliner most days, but it's not an essential item of make-up for me unlike mascara, but I feel I always need it there just in case and then end up putting it nearly everyday anyway.

What do you think? Are there any items of make-up you have to replace as soon as they run out?

That Monday Feeling...

I woke up this morning in a good mood until I remembered I had a terminology test at uni today and when I realised just how cold it was when I got out of bed.
Due to this I decided to bring out the fur coat which I got for Christmas which I knew was coming and it was killing me having to wait for it. I loved it even more today not just for the fact it's lovely but for the fact it kept me so warm. However, I'm not quite sure what made my tunic so hairy the coat or my pug...

Coat - ASOS, Tunic - ASOS, Tights - House of Holland for Pretty Polly, Shoes- Dr Martens

You can still buy the one I have but unfortunately is still full price although there are some other great ones on there in the sale.

I'm getting my hair done tomorrow blonde and maybe lavender dip dye or just lavender bits throughout it to make a change from my almost faded pink.

What do you think?
