Girlfriend Jeans For The Win

Gilet - ASOS
Jumper - Bella Freud (Net-A-Porter)
Jeans - New Look
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - Dolce & Gabbana (Net-A-Porter)

So here we have the girlfriend jeans, an update on the boyfriend and the skinny as it's a mix of both. Not as slouchy as a boyfriend fit but not as tight as a skinny. I personally think it's my new fave style.

This pair is from New Look at a bargain price of £24.99. (I got them for £19.99 as they had 20% off jeans the day I bought them) which I think is an incredible price for jeans. I don't really shop in New Look especially not for jeans but I'd seen them on somebody and thought I would give them a try and I'm really impressed. They can be worn with trainers, Brogues and ankle boots so they are super versatile.

I think this is one of my fave outfits I've worn recently, I think I may be a girlfriend jeans convert!

FASHION - Bella Freud Jumper

Coat - Topshop
Jumper - Bella Freud via Net-A-Porter
Jeans - Alexa Chung for AG Jeans via Net-A-Porter
Bag - Dolce & Gabbana Via Net-A-Porter
Boots - Acne Studios Via Net-A-Porter

Sorry about the high end Net-A-Porter head to toe outfit haha it was totally unintentional! I just wore this for a day of visiting my grandma, popping into town and to the cinema. I watched the Revenant which was amazing BTW, I've never watched something that is so tense from start to finish!

All of these pieces were actually in my last post, so now you get to see them in action.  My Acne Jensen boots are the comfiest boots ever, I'm so glad Luke got them for me for Christmas as they are such a staple in my shoe-drobe now and I actually don't think I've worn anything else in the last month.

I've wanted a Bella Freud jumper for ages so I treated myself to one in December as it was my 1 year anniversary at work. I didn't want one of the classic ones that everybody has so I went for this one as I love red and I thought it would also make the perfect xmas day outfit and it's suitable all year round too. Next up on the Bella Freud jumper wishlist are the ones below, I love the 1970 jumper in the updated baby pink colour.

Also, my new Dolce bag is just a dream and I'm obsessed with it, new purchases make me far happier than they probably should haha.

My Net-A-Porter Sale Haul

When the Net-A-Porter sale starts it's never a good thing for my bank balance as I love my designer labels and even more so when they're at such a great price.

I tried to buy things that I really needed like new jeans, a new bag and lingerie (well I definitely don't need lingerie but it's a staple in my eyes haha)

 Stella McCartney Lingerie (sold out)

More underwear I hear you say? I'm just a sucker for nice underwear and couldn't help myself despite the fact I own about 2,000 pairs haha!

Dolce & Gabbana Bag (sold out)

I've been wanting a new 'weekend' bag for a while, I absolutely love my Givenchy Antigona and my red Aspinal rucksack but they're my work bags and I find them too big for the weekend. I wear my Marc Jacobs bag religiously and I'm fed up of seeing it haha so a new bag was a must in my eyes. As leopard print is such a classic it will never date and goes with everything.

I like to buy expensive jeans as they just seem to last so much longer, my trusty black Iris & Ink jeans from The Outnet are getting old but still have lots of life in them but a new pair was definitely needed so what better pair to get than one designed by the babe Alexa Chung herself.

This swimsuit wasn't actually in the sale but I'm a sucker for swimwear especially designer swimwear so this was a must for our holiday this summer as it's super fun.

Bella Freud Jumper (sold out)

This also wasn't a sale buy and I actually bought this before Christmas  as I wanted it to wear on Christmas day but it hasn't made an appearance on the blog yet so I thought I would add it into this post. There are other Bella Freud jumpers in the sale though here.

What's your favourite piece?

Christmas Day Outfit Inspiration

Outfit 1 -

 Outfit 2 -

Outfit 3 -

So everybody wants to look super nice on Christmas day whether you're staying in doors and having family over, going to somebody's house or going out out for Christmas dinner. So I thought I'd give you some outfit inspiration as I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to buy to wear recently as it is less than a month until the big day!! I know everybody keeps saying it but this year really has gone fast and so much has happened in a good way - I am soooo excited for 2016!!

The Bella Freud jumper in the first outfit is a big of a splurge - I've decided I'm going to buy it to wear on Christmas Day this year and this is the way I'm thinking of styling it. I just think it's a chic take on the usual gimmicky Christmas jumpers and can be worn all year round. I love the fact it says 'Good Times' on the sleeve too - so cute.

The dress in the second outfit is Topshop - I really love this dress. It has flute sleeves and a bib detail on the chest which you can't really see in the picture sorry! I think it would make a lovely Christmas day outfit paired with the boots as it's casual and comfy but will look really lovely on.

The third outfit is a bit jazzier for those people who really like to get dressed up on Christmas day. The pumps really remind me of Valentino Rockstuds so these £40 ASOS shoes need to be mine!

The good thing about everything in these outfits is that they can be worn all year round for many different occasions, so treat yourself!
